Wireless Dynamics, a provider of NFC and RFID SD products, announced the iCarte 110, which the company called the first NFC (Near Field Communications) and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Reader/Writer to provide NFC two way communications, RFID read/write and contactless payment capability for iPhones.
As an MFi (Made for iPod/iPhone) accessory attaching to the bottom connector of the iPhone, the iCarte turns the iPhone into an NFC phone as well as an RFID Reader/Writer.

Sega is preparing a sequel to its App Store launch title, Super Monkey Ball, due out sometime before the end of the year.
According to Touch Arcade, Super Monkey Ball 2 will add 115 new levels, multiplayer functions, and, perhaps most importantly, minigames.
Monkey Bowling will be included in the download, with Monkey Golf and Monkey Target (also known as the greatest achievement in human history) to follow as free updates.

The launch of Wikipedia, emergence of the iPhone and the election of US President Barack Obama were among the 10 most influential moments on the Internet in the past decade, according to the annual Webby awards.
Other events singled out by the New York-based International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which has presented the annual Webby awards since 1996, were the Iranian election in 2009 when protests demonstrated the power of Twitter and other social network in reshaping democracy.

According to a report on Friday by Reuters, leading mobile publisher Gameloft is unimpressed with Google's emerging Android platform and has therefore reduced its support of the format.
